The summer is flying by....

Holy smokes! I can't believe we have just passed CANADA DAY! The summer is flying by! We here at LoveAbounds have been sooooo busy having fun that we hardly notice Wendy preparing the cabin for WINTER no less! Crazy lady! Doesn't she know she is supposed to be playing with us and not worrying about the COLD weather yet??
I have been playing with sooo many of my pals already this summer. Today Jack and Bailey and I will be meeting up with Scooter who is on his way from Pickering! He is really a country boy at heart tho so we all get on famously!
We plan long cool walks in the Ganaraska Trails today so it will be a blast! The chipmunks and the red squirrels better get their PF flyers on 'cause we are a fast group of boys and we caome in all sizes!
Wendy is preparing the pool for us to have a cool dip if it gets too hot. Then of course shecan always put us in the airconditioned house or my favourite...the cabin. I like the heat and Jack loves the heat being he is a greyhound/whippet cross and I am a handsome chihuahua. Now Scooter and Bailey well.....maybe not so much. There is a fantastic breeze today and the shade from our big Maple tree is the perfect spot for them! I will continue to bask in the sun with Jack! We can all drink plenty of fresh cold water as we need it too!
Well, you folks should drop us a line and let us know just how fab your summer is going!
Look forward to hearing from all of you! You better book soon for the winter as we are filled up for the summer and booking for the fall/winter already! Everyone loves it here so don't miss out! Tell your moms and dads to reserve a space for you now! That is if your REALLY want to have a great time in the country!!

the shenanigans we're up to....

Hi everybody!!
I've been so busy I've hardly had time to write on my blog! Mom is really busy and I am trying to help keep her pets occupied while she gets her housework done! Sometimes she tells me I am doing a fine job, others I guess, not so good!
We're having a blast here though. It has been so nice that we've been able to play outside all day. It makes us tired so we sleep really well at night and Mom likes that!
Today Tucker and I had so much fun on the Ganaraska Trails. It is beautiful there and the chipmunks were driving us crazy. We tried to catch them but never had any luck. They're way too fast for us! It was fun trying though! My friends Jazz&Bogy are here and they love to be outside with me. Today they were helping move the morning glories!
Tomorrow Bo is coming back for a sleepover 'cause his Mom is sooo busy at the Village Card & Gift Shoppe because it is closing it's doors for good. We're sad about that too. My buddy Wyatt is coming too so we'll be really having a busy playday.
Anyway, check us out and see if you would like to come over for a playday or an overnight pj party. We'll try and make room for you!
Our summer is booking up so fast that you may not be able to get in tho so if you're thinking about calling do it now!

It's sooooo...HOT!

Wow! Gotta love this HOT weather! If you are a Chihuahua that is! My Mom just hates it! She just can't get cool enough even tho we have air conditioning!
I've been having a blast playing with all my new friends that have been coming to stay with us! It is so great now that I can be outside so much and Mom does spend the time with me out there even tho it is sometimes warmer than she likes it.
Soon we will be putting up the pool and I will be able to swim to stay cool. Mom bought me a lifejacket last summer so I wouldn't drown after my back surgery. I needed to get my strength back in my legs and it was good exercise for that i guess. (at least that's what they tried to convince me of!) I don't much like that lifejacket)
I hope all of you are enjoying this nice weather too. You should let me know what you're up to and we can compare notes! My friend Bo was here this weekend and we had a lot of fun. He's a big fellow too! He sleeps on the couch with me and the cats. We all get along like a house on fire. I hope he comes back soon!
Better get going now, Mom's going to feed me so I don't want to miss out on anything!

Funny Girl arrives...

Hey everyone,
What a funny girl that arrived today! Bailey's her name and she is way bigger than me! An English bulldog who is just a puppy too! She sure is a curious georgette too. Mom thinks she is a beauty and is spoiling her a lot. She is going to help her with her social skills while she is here. That should be fun!
We're having a lot of fun today playing outside in the warm weather that has finally got here. You all should drop by to see just what we get up to! You and your pet would have a blast in a safe and secure environment.

Hi everybody!
My Mom (Wendy) has let me start up my own blog to let all of you know what is going on here at LoveAbounds! We finally got rid of all our snow and I have been busy playing with my many furry friends out in the yard every day! I hope all of you are getting your exercise just like we are!
Jack has finally made it back from vacationing with his Mom in Arizona and visited with me on the weekend. He says Arizona was sooo warm that I was green with envy. He spent all those cold winter months never having to wear his coat while we, up here were saddled with coats AND boots! Since my surgery last spring my Mom makes me wear plenty to keep me warm so I don't suffer with all the aches and pains she does, so she says!
Barney, Molly, Peaches, Pepper, Pickles and Lily keep me exercising on a regular basis so I should stay in great shape for years to come!
I hope you all really enjoyed the mild winter we had as much as we did here at LoveAbounds! We're looking forward to greeting all our furry friends again son.
I will be blogging on a regular basis so keep checking back for all the news!
